President of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has promised that he will accept Asia Bibi's appeal, which suggests that the end of the case could be close.

Since last year, Asia Bibi's appeal had been stalled legally. She was still on death row without an end in sight, after eight interminable years locked up for a crime of blasphemy that she did not commit. Now there is new hope that she will be released.
